In recent years, acne has started to become more common in adults, and this increase has to emerge different “treatments.” Internet is a breeding ground for all sorts of supposed cures for acne, which most of these treatments have any scientific validity. Even some products marketed through traditional business may have eluded the various administrative controls. One such product is the chemical peel, which can pose a risk to health.

Chemical peels are a cosmetic that rely on chemicals to accelerate the exfoliation of the skin. He has been talking about these products as an inexpensive method to improve wrinkles, liver spots and of course acne.

However, these chemicals, in some cases they are dangerous because they can lead to serious burns and, just as with a conventional burning, scarring can occur.

Normally products for chemical peeling using more than three active ingredients, among which may be resorption, lactic acid and salicylic acid. If already these names sound aggressive, large doses may be more. So please, if you use one of these chemical peels, check with a specialist because doctors are the only ones who use these products properly and safely. Do not play Russian roulette with your skin, because the results of some of these “treatments” can be worse than the acne itself.
