The tea tree oil is an essential oil obtained by steam distillation from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia, a plant native to Australia.

No matter what causes acne or skin type affected, the first rule to consider is that of hygiene. Good hygiene measures will promote the reduction of acne.
